Packaging generated by businesses or institutions is often categorized separately and frequently excluded from residential Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes. This distinction highlights the challenge of managing packaging waste produced in commercial settings, which can differ significantly from that generated in residential areas. As a result, there is a growing need to address the environmental impact of such packaging and explore solutions beyond the scope of current residential recycling initiatives.
